As part of the Freedom Train, the YDA has been travelling from their territories in northern BC, holding rallies, speaking events, feasts, and ceremonies in Jasper, Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg. For the final Freedom Train stop in Toronto there will be a Solidarity Concert, a water ceremony, and a rally at the Enbridge AGM.
The rally at tomorrow’s Enbridge AGM will be a clear sign of southern Ontario resistance against tar sands expansion and the pipelines as buses are organized to bring supporters from Sarnia, Guelph, and Kitchener-Waterloo to oppose the pipeline project.
For more information on why the YDA has come to Toronto to oppose the Enbridge pipeline, check out the latest article on rabble.ca.
